Laura Cattell, PAC first moved to Telluride in 1987, immediately she fell in love with small town living! She became an EMT in 1990, volunteered with Telluride EMS for 3 years and then decided to pursue a full time career in medicine.  Laura attended George Washington University School of Medicine and obtained a masters in health science and her physician assistant degree.  Returning full time to Telluride in 1999, Laura has worked at The Telluride Medical Center since 2000.  Her areas of special interest include women’s health care, nutrition and dermatology; though she loves the diversity of care she is able to practice in Telluride.

Married to Banks Brown since 1998 and the mother of Brianna (10) and Wynton (9); she is raising her family in the area and enjoys many of the activities Telluride has to offer.  She and her son Wynton are both hockey players! Laura also enjoys skiing, hiking, running, camping, reading and especially riding her mountain bike.   Photographing wildflowers is one of her and Brianna’s favorite summer activities. Volunteering for organizations involving her kids including Lizard Head Hockey, school accountability and The Dance Academy are of utmost priority.   Her husband Banks is a long time local, works for Peaks Real Estate and is a very active community member including being president of the local school board and Aldasoro Home Owners Association. Laura feels incredibly lucky to be living in such a supportive, accepting community and to be given the opportunity to provide excellent health care at the Telluride Medical Center.
