The Telluride Medical Center’s annual gala fundraiser “Operation F.E.A.S.T., will take place March 13th and will be an affair not to be missed offering a fabulous Wine Dinner, a spectacular live auction and dancing to The Marvin Seals’ Band.

Telluride, CO - March 13, 2010

The Telluride Medical Center will hold it’s 6th annual gala fundraiser, Operation F.E.A.S.T. (Fund for Expanding And Supporting Telluride’s Medical Center) on March 13th at the Telluride Conference Center. The event is focused on offering a healthy, sustainable celebration including exquisite organic products grown or farm raised from regional farms and ranches.

Feast

Jake Linzinmeir, Chef and owner of Excelsior, Xcafé and Blue Point Grill and Kenny Gilbert, Executive Chef of Onyx and Suede Bar at Capella will be the creators of this gourmet feast.

Entertainment

The entertainment for the event will be the nationally renowned Melvin Seals band.

Melvin Seals has been a powerful presence in the music industry for over 30 years playing with legends such as Chuck Berry, Charlie Daniels and Elvin Bishop. But perhaps Melvin is most revered for his powerful and high-spirited Hammond B-3 organ and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this remarkable talent for the F.E.A.S.T,” said Kate Wadley, Executive Director of Philanthropy for the Telluride Medical Center.

Auction

Guests will have the opportunity to bid on fabulous auction items at the event as well as bid through an online auction starting March 1st. Some of these auction items include:

The Telluride Medical Center fundraiser is held every year in March and includes a gourmet feast, dancing to live music and a live auction. All money raised help support the Telluride Medical Center.

Over the past six years, the FEAST has contributed over a million dollars to improve the scope and sophistication of Telluride Medical Center including purchasing a CT Scan, computerized x-ray, new x-ray and electronic medical record system.
