The Telluride Regional Medical Center Policy on Stocking Prescriptions for Coronavirus
Providers can issue a 30 day supply for patients who rely on prescription medications, by request, to see them through a self-quarantine period if necessary.
Some insurance policies allow a local pharmacy to automatically refill your regular prescriptions, sometimes for 90 days at a time. This is a good way to ensure that you always have enough on hand.
If you require refills for existing prescriptions, please use the medical center’s portal to make your request. If you are not currently active on the portal, please register for the portal here. If you do not have a valid email address on file with the Telluride Regional Medical Center; call the front desk at 970.728.2848.
Please note: antibiotics and current antivirals do not work on coronavirus (COVID-19). We will not be prescribing these to be patients over the phone or portal.
Please visit cdc.gov or San Miguel County Public Health page for the latest coronavirus news and local response efforts.
