While many patients postponed or avoided routine medical care in the early days of the pandemic, things started to rebound in 2022. Our Primary Care clinic and ER departments were especially busy last year.

We managed over 13,000 patient visits in our Primary Care clinic, an increase of about 500 from 2021. That averages out to almost 14 patients per shift. We also saw more than 1,100 behavioral health patient visits, nearly 550 more than the previous year.

Our Emergency Department saw an additional 3,250 patient visits, over 450 more than we saw in 2021. Over 250 of them required emergency medical transport to Montrose, Grand Junction or Denver. Our medical imaging department did over 3,700 x-rays and nearly 900 CT scans.

Altogether, our team managed just under 17,600 patient visits in 2022, an increase of nearly 1,500 from the year before. No wonder we are tired!
