Sandy Alexander joined the Telluride Regional Medical Center in January of 2016 as the Human Resources Manager. Prior to working here she was the Member Relations Manager with Mountain States Employers Council in Denver, CO. She joined MSEC in 2007 as a staff professional in our Human Resource Services department. In late 2009, she became the Member Relations Manager, where she worked with our members to make sure they are utilizing their membership. She continued to work with different organizations as a human resource consultant for all their HR needs. Sandy obtained the Organizational Development Certification and graduated from the Executive Leadership programs through MSEC.
Prior to working at MSEC, Sandy was Regional HR Manager for a Fortune 100 company, an HR Manager for a call center, and an HR Manager for a Professional Employer Organization. She has an extensive human resources background and experience especially with management training, employee relations and benefit administration and is on the planning committee for the Colorado Culture of Health Conference, which is aimed at making Colorado the Nation’s Healthiest State. She has her PHR certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute, her SHRM-CP from the Society of Human Resource Management and a BA in Management from the University of Phoenix. Sandy has also served on the CO-SHRM State Council Board and chairs the Speakers Committee for the 2013 and 2015 CO-SHRM conferences in Keystone, Colorado.
