Dr. Carol Kammer has lived in Telluride for 17 years, joining the Telluride Hospital Board in 2010. She is a retired nursing professor with 20 years experience in academic health care at Indiana University, Rutgers University, and Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Care. Carol served in various faculty and administrative roles, most recently as Associate Dean of Nursing. Since retirement her community service activities include San Miguel Resource Center Board, Telluride Women’s Network Board President, and Telluride Historical Museum Board President. She is currently a volunteer for Angel Baskets and San Miguel County Foodbank. She has two children and five grandchildren who frequently visit and enjoy the beauty and recreational activities of the region.
