Based on declining COVID-19 infection trends, Telluride Regional Medical Center lifted universal mask mandates for all clinical areas effective March 15, 2023.

  • Patients and Visitors who do not have COVID-19, cold, flu or respiratory symptoms are no longer required to wear a mask in TRMC facilities.
  • Staff who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 AND who have received an annual influenza vaccine are no longer required to continuously mask in clinical areas.
  • Patients and Visitors who have COVID-19, cold, flu or respiratory symptoms will still be required to wear a mask in TRMC facilities.
  • Staff who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 AND influenza will be required to wear a mask.

Patients, Visitors, and Staff are welcome to continue wearing a mask if they prefer. Individuals should use their own discretion based on their personal risk factors and concerns. TRMC reserves the right to make changes in the future based on evidence and guidance from public health officials.
